Partnerships
Greenhouses of Love (Viveros de Amor) has been inspired by organizations that share a common goal for the community. One example of these organizations isthe Fundación Alivio del Sufrimiento (Suffering Relief Foundation), an existing charity organization in El Paraíso. The Suffering Relief Foundation was founded and is presided by Father Ferdinando Castriotti. Through his Foundation, Father Castriotti has built and operates an Addiction Rehabilitation Center, a Home for the Elderly, an Elementary/High School Educational Facility, a Home for Abandoned Children, a Home for Children with Special Needs, a Home for Deported Immigrants and a Hospital, as well as a project to provide clean water to El Paraíso. Father Castriotti’s projects are tangible proof of his generous heart and of his profound love for God through the service of others. We look forward to working together in suport of our respective missions.
Honduran Medical & Dental Mission
The Greenhouse of Love Foundation is proud to announce our partnership with the Honduras Medical & Dental Mission! We are honored to serve as the sponsoring charity organization for all future mission trips.
For more than 20 years, the Honduras Medical & Dental Mission has been providing essential healthcare and dental services to communities in Honduras with limited access to medical care. The mission team is primarily based in Frankfort, Kentucky, with dedicated members supporting from across Kentucky and the United States.
Together, we look forward to continuing this incredible work and making an even greater impact in the lives of those we serve.

Mami Monchita’s Honduran Restaurant
Years before Greenhouses of Love formally became a non-profit organization with a 501(c)(3) status, Mami Monchita’s began to donate 10 percent of its profits to Greenhouses of Love. Mami Monchita’s opened in 2017 with the goal of bringing Honduran cuisine to Frankfort while helping the community of El Paraíso through its donations to Greenhouses of Love. These donations have helped fund our initial projects and will continue to help further the mission of the foundation. We are grateful to Mami Monchita’s Honduran Restaurant for their unconditional and generous financial support!

Greenhouses of Love Thrift Store
Important Update from The Greenhouses of Love Foundation
We’re excited to share that The Greenhouses of Love Thrift Store is adopting a new business model to further our mission of helping communities in need.
As part of this transition, we have closed our storefront at 27 Grandview Dr. Moving forward, all clothing donations will be sent directly to Honduras, where they will be sold at a local storefront. This change allows us to create new opportunities abroad while continuing to support our charitable work.
